Should be called 5 star! So delicious and perfect on all accounts. I love this place.

Best Chinese take out restaurant in town! Love this place

Very annoyed at the fact that my lo mein had pork in it after I specifically asked for no meat. Restaurant also says online that it opens at 10:30am but have drove by on at least 3 different days and they’re not. Inside is very dark but bathrooms seemed to be okay cleaned. I waited a while for my food but the shrimp lo mein is worth it. If you explain very carefully what you want to them your order is usually right. I would give more stars but again I am very annoyed.

Red Star is the standard which all others in the area should aspire to as far as the quality of service and food.

If you want to place with a lot of food, this is it. They're really not known for their service is pretty much the kitchen help that comes and waits on you. But they got a great family meal so we serve ourselves our drinks and they will bring the food to you but it's more geared towards carry out. But like I said the food is normally really tasty and the portions are huge so overall it's a great deal.

We had our child trying to eat dinner and she started crying so we tried to console her and she was just being fussy so we fed her got her quiet long enough so we could eat and after we paid for the server talk to the cashier in her native language and begin talking trash about us while we were walking out the door. So next time if you have customers that are leaving and you don’t like the way things went don’t start trash talking about them as they’re walking out the door because we heard everything they said I can tell because I’ve been to other countries that they were talking trash, so don’t start talking trash and if you do wait till all the customers are gone because we will never be back here ever again and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND anybody go here. They are very disrespectful.

Place is great. I always order take out and it’s really good! I requested something not on the menu and they had no problem making it. Love this place

Pretty good food. Reasonable prices

The food was not good. The sesame chicken tasted very strange. The sauce just did not taste good at all. I couldn't eat it. The sizzling rice soup just had regular rice in it. Every other sizzling rice soup I have had in my life always had crispy rice on the side that you put in yourself. The spring rolls weren't good either. Overall, it was a bad meal for the family. Won't be going here again. Very disappointed.

This place has become our favorite Chinese restaurant since they opened. We always buy way too much food because it's way too good. So tonight when I ordered my food the daughter called me back to apologize because they quit serving sweet & sour pork (my favorite) so to order something to replace it, when my husband went to pick up our order the mother told him she was giving us extra food. How can you complain about a business like this? Love these sweet generous people as well as their food, their restaurant & staff. Best place ever.

Really good Cantonese Chinese food for a great price.

Fantasistic food and value, be careful not to get carried away though or you'll end up with a lot of leftovers. Red Star is my go to Chinese spot and first recommendation to anyone who wants good Chinese or tells me they like China Wok.

First time I've been in 10 years..now I remember why I haven't been in 10 years:)))

Took a little while to get my food for a pickup order I placed online but the staff was very pleasant and welcomed me as soon as I entered. The ambience is very nice I would suggest dining in if possible. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Every time I get take out the young guy behind the counter is a blast to talk to. I drive from 390 and Frankford and pass 6 or more Chinese joints just to come here ....The food is always hot and fresh . .. This place is pretty damn good ... Thanks guys !!!😀

Great food and great prices

Decent service, but very good food. I had the habachi chicken with love mein. Very good and a good sized portion. The rest of the table we're jealous of how good the chicken looked. While small this is definitely worth a try.

The food here is excellent! Always pipping hot and fresh. I'm very picky with my sweet and sour sauce, and theirs is the best.

Yum Mongolian Beef and Szechuan chicken was so good. Served hot and pretty fast!! Their egg rolls and spring rolls are great, too! Enjoy!

Don’t miss the sesame balls. They came out piping hot (fresh made!) but they’re this amazing melt-in-your-mouth inside with a crusty exterior combo. There’s red bean paste in the center - my favorite! The menu is extensive and the portions are huge. I had the sesame chicken combination; there was enough chicken and pork-fried is rice for lunch the next day. If you drink water, two people can reasonably have a good meal for under $20 (so leave a good tip - the people working there were very nice!)

Good and consistent Chinese food. This is my go to for Chinese in Panama City. They are super fast for pickup orders!

Don't be fooled by the decor, Red Star has great food. The wait staff speaks very little English. Lunch was plentiful.

Every time we go in, we are seated right away and always given prompt attention. The food is consistently really good. Everything always tastes extremely fresh and homemade. The spring rolls are my absolute favorite because they are so so fresh! The staff really hustles to make sure all of their customers are taken care of. It is quick, easy, and absolutely delicious!

I'm not much of a fan of Chinese food in general, but I enjoy Red Star in spite of that. Their dumplings are really good!

Food is good depending on what you get but their sweet and sour sauce is disgusting. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and cheese wontons and the meal was unenjoyable. But their chicken teriyaki is bomb.

Ordered take out and got home to sit down and eat the sesame chicken, and the chicken was RAW, pink all throughout the middle!! Called the restaurant, and they said there was no way that my food could be raw, and said I was being dishonest

So happy we found this litte place. EXCELLENT, Served Fast and Hot! Our NEW FAVORITE Chinese restaurant.

Very tasty food. Had lunch and my total with a drink was $7.39. I got Szechuan Chicken. It came with a spring roll and pork fried rice. Super delish! I'll be coming back.

I was impressed with just how clean everything was. Usually when I compliment a restaurant for its cleanliness there is still a little something askew here or there but, this place didn't have a speck out of place! The food was fresh and an excellent value. I really enjoyed my visit here.

Loved how everything was prepared. Cheese wontons were crispy and delicious, teriyaki beef was tender and sesame chicken was crispy with great flavor. Overall a great eating experience.
